In the quarterfinal round, the top-ranked 133-pounder won by fall at 2:44 over Coe’s fourth-ranked Brock Henderson. No. 2 Wartburg defeated No. 11 Coe 32-8. In the championship semifinals, Rathbun won by an 11-5 decision over Johnson & Wales’ Bobby Jordan. Wartburg fell to No. 3 Johnson & Wales 18-17. In the team’s third-place dual, Rathbun bumped up to 141lbs. where he sent Wabash’s 10th-ranked Owen Doster to his back in 39 seconds for a fall. Wartburg defeated No. 5 Wabash 27-13 to take third. Rathbun’s three victories moved his winning streak to seven and a team-best 19 on the year. Rathbun claimed the 133lbs. NCAA Division III National Title a season ago and is currently ranked No.1 at 133lbs. This is the fifth career Wrestler of the Week honor for Rathbun (1/7/19, 11/20/18, 11/13/18, 2/4/18, 12/10/17).
