High School Geneseo Male Athlete of the Week – Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Field Performer of the Week Will Daniels, Central College Jr., Geneseo, Ill./Geneseo Daniels kicked off the 2018-19 season December 1-2 at the Doane College Happy Holidays Multi-Event. The 2018 NCAA Division III Heptathlon National Champion opened his junior campaign with a point total of 5,432, good for a Central College record and the third-best mark in NCAA Division III history. Daniels took first-place in the field of nine. 60-meter dash -- 6.97 seconds long jump -- 22 feet, 6.25 inches Shot put -- 43 feet, 5 inches High jump -- 6 feet, 9.5 inches 60-meter hurdles -- 8.70 seconds Pole vault -- 14 feet, 1.25 inches 1,000-meter run -- 2 minutes, 57.89 seconds This is Daniel’s third Indoor Field Performer of the Week honor (12/3/18, 2/4/18, 12/3/18).
