San Fernando In the 86th-minute of the American Rivers Conference championship match versus Loras, first-year player Vila scored the game winner. The goal was Vila’s second of the season. Luther won its 8th conference tournament title with a 2-1 victory over the Duhawks and has now qualified for the NCAA Division III Tournament nine times. Vila is part of an offensive unit that has averaged 2.40 goals per game. It was announced today that Luther will host Knox College in the first-round of this year’s NCAA Division III tournament. The Offensive Player of the Week honor is Vila’s first.
