Jenny Wick Award Female Athlete of the Week Week Of 11/5/2018 Sport American Rivers Conference School Loras College Year Junior Position Hometown Iowa City, Iowa High School Regina Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Soccer – Defensive Player of the Week Jenny Wick, Loras College Jr., CDM, Iowa City, Iowa/Regina Wick helped Loras to its 13th conference tournament title in program history Saturday, November 3, assisting on all three Duhawk goals. Loras defeated Wartburg 3-2 in the championship match. The championship match was Wick’s third consecutive match with points (4/2/2). Wick scored one goal in the Duhawk’s 3-2 semifinal win over Dubuque on Wednesday, October 31. Loras is making their 14th overall and third consecutive trip to the NCAA Division III Tournament. It was announced today that the Duhawks will face Adrian in the first-round of this year’s tournament. Wick and the Loras defense will take their 1.32 opponent scoring average into this weekend’s NCAA tournament. Offensively the Duhawk’s put up an average of 2.95 goals per game. Wick has amassed 20 points this season on six goals and eight assists. This is Wick’s second Defensive Player of the Week honor (11/5/18, 9/9/18).
