High School Hinsdale Central Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Soccer – Offensive Player of the Week Lauren Cangelosi, University of Dubuque Sr., F, Clarendon Hills, Ill./Hinsdale Central Cangelosi helped the Spartans to a 2-0 record on the week. She scored the game winner in overtime vs. Nebraska Wesleyan. The senior forward collected a goal and assist in the Spartan’s 3-0 win over Buena Vista on Saturday. On the week she fired 10 shots, placing six of them on goal. In conference play Cangelosi has tallied two goals, both game winners. A season ago Cangelosi was named All-Conference. This is the second Offensive Player of the Week award for Cangelosi (10/22/18, 10/29/17).
