From the records we have, this is the first time a student-athlete has earned performer of the week honors in back-to-back weeks in two different sports. On October 20 NWU defeated Simpson 143-50. Vasquez won the 500 Free and 1000 Free. He swam a season best time of 10:53.84 to win 1000 Free by 1:15. He also had season best time of 5:13.81 in 500 Free to win by 35 seconds.
