High School Boylan Catholic Men’s Soccer – Defensive Player of the Week Carson Davenport, Luther College So., GK, Rockford, Ill./Boylan Catholic Davenport posted three shut outs last week while helping Luther to wins over Macalester College (2-0), Coe College (4-0) and Central College (2-0). The sophomore keeper turned away all six shots he faced last week and increased his shutout total to four. He lowered his goal against average to 0.87 and is now 9-3-1. In seven conference games Davenport owns the leagues top GAA at 0.73. Luther has now recorded eight shutouts this season. Davenport is earning his first Defensive Player of the Week honor.
