High School Lutheran High Northeast Football – Co-Offensive Player of the Week Shaka Taylor, Nebraska Wesleyan University Sr., RB, Norfolk, Neb./Lutheran High Northeast Taylor helped the Prairie Wolves pick up their first league win of the year with a 23-15 victory over Luther. In the contest Taylor became NWU’s all-time leading rusher with a 19-yard run in the 2nd quarter. The senior running ack also set a school career record for all-purpose yards. He finished the game with 127 rushing yards on 25 carries and caught five passes for 68 yards. This was Taylor’s third straight 100-yard game and 5th of the year. He now has 2,566 career rushing yards and has compiled 4,356 all-purpose yards. Taylor leads the conference in rushing with 689-yards in six league games. His 114.8 yards per game ranks second. This is Taylor’s second Offensive Player of the Week honor (10/22/18, 11/5/17).
