High School East Bay Male Athlete of the Week – Football – Offensive Player of the Week Ian Kuykendall, Luther College Jr., QB, Riverview, Fla./East Bay Helped lead Luther to its first win of the season, a 41-26 victory over Buena Vista. Of Luther’s 585 yards of total offense, Kuykendall accounted for 429 of those yards. The junior QB went 15-of-27 through the air for 210 yards and two touchdowns. He also rushed for a career high 219 yards and one touchdown, including a career long 72-yard scamper. Kuykendall’s rushing TD came on a 48-yard run, while his touchdown passes went for18 and 8 yards. The Riverview, Florida native averaged 12.2 yards per carry and 14 yards per completion. This is Kuykendall’s second career Offensive Player of the Week accolade (10/15/18, 10/1/17).
