High School North Raleigh Christian Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Tennis – Player of the Week Lauren French, Coe College Sr., Raleigh, N.C./North Raleigh Christian French won the Flight A-Singles championship at the American Rivers Conference Individual Tournament for the second-straight year. French also teamed up with Isabella Hoppenjans in A-Doubles, defeating Luther 8-4 to win the tournament. The victory marked the 10th time in the last 11 years that Coe has won the Flight A-Doubles bracket. With two wins on the final day of the A-R-C Tournament, French moves into 10th in program history with 63 singles wins and 11th with 64 doubles wins. This is French’s sixth Player of the Week honor (10/15/18, 9/10/18, 10/16/17, 10/1/17, 9/24/17, 9/25/16). A season ago French was named the league’s MVP.
