High School Omaha Burke Men’s Cross Country – Runner of the Week Andy Vasquez, Nebraska Wesleyan University Jr., Omaha, Neb./Omaha Burke Vasquez and the Prairie Wolves competed at the Jim Drews/UW-La Crosse Invite over the weekend. Vasquez ran a time of 25:14.8 to finish 4th in a field of 294 runners. The Omaha natives fourth-place time clocked in18 seconds behind the winner. Vasquez was 4th overall a JUCO, D2 and one D3 runner NWU placed 6th-of-22 teams. The last NWU student-athlete to earn Men’s Cross Country Runner of the Week accolades, Tanner Brown (10/9/16).
