High School Lincoln Southwest Women’s Swimming & Diving – Performer of the Week Josie Ford, Nebraska Wesleyan University Fr., Lincoln, Neb./Lincoln Southwest Ford and the Prairie Wolves competed October 5-6 in two duals against Luther College. NWU won 90-85 on Oct. 5, Luther won 130-109 on Oct. 6. In her first collegiate competition Ford won two individual events in both duals (four total). Event 1: 1st – 100 Free, 55.73 Event 2: 1st – 50 Free 25.82 Event 3: 1st – 50 Back 29.66 Event 4: 1st – 100 Back 1:03.07 Her time in the 100 back set a new school record and her time in the 100 free set a new pool record. Ford was also a member of two winning relay teams, including 200 medley relay that set a new pool record. This is Ford’s first Performer of the Week honor.
