High School Prairie Ridge Women’s Soccer – Defensive Player of the Week Taylor Golt, Central College So., GK, Crystal Lake, Ill./Prairie Ridge Golt was in goal for the Dutch as they picked up wins over Monmouth and Wartburg last week. Central defeated Monmouth 4-1. Monmouth had five shots on goal with Golt coming up with saves on four. Central’s 2-1 over the Knights was their first win at Wartburg since 2006. Golt provided Central with nine saves in Wartburg’s 10 shots on goal. With a goal against average of .971, Golt ranks second in the league. This is Golt’s second Defensive Player of the Week honor (10/1/18, 9/10/17). Central is now 8-2-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
