Opting to go for two and the win rather than force a second overtime, Krueger handed the ball off to running back Cam Bunting who flipped the ball to wide receiver Austin Hronich who found Krueger in the endzone for the game-winning two-point conversion. With the ground game not producing for the Strom, Krueger was called upon to produce through the air. The junior QB connected on 23 of 52 attempts, with receivers averaging 14.62 yards per catch. This is the first Offensive Player of the Week award for Krueger. Simpson improved to 3-1 overall and 2-0 in conference play.
