High School Memorial Women’s Tennis – Player of the Week Devon Bourget, Luther College So., Eau Claire, Wis./Memorial Bourget went 3-2 at the ITA Midwest Regional in singles. On the championship side of the bracket she defeated Alisha Wiedneier of St. Kate's (7-6(4), 6-4) and Ashley Rottinghaus of Wartburg (6-4, 6-1). She fell to Grinnell's No. 1 player Abigail Nielsen (6-1, 6-2). Bourget is now 5-0 versus American Rivers Conference No. 1 players this season. Bourget and doubles partner Kelsey Kruse defeated Sydney Verbauwhede and Alyssa Carew of Edgewood (9-8(2)) and then were defeated by UW-Whitewater duo Gabi Kitchell and Julye Martin (8-0). This is the first Player of the Week accolade for Bourget. Bourget was an All-Conference doubles selection a season ago.
