Matt Sacia Award Offensive Player of the Week Week Of 9/23/2018 Sport Football School Wartburg College Year Senior Position Hometown Eldridge, Iowa High School North Scott Football – Offensive Player of the Week Matt Sacia, Wartburg College Sr., QB, Eldridge, Iowa/North Scott Sacia threw for 330 yards and three TDs in Wartburg’s 42-14 win over NWU. The senior QB was 21-28 with his longest pass recorded at 74-yards. Sacia’s 330 yards of passing came by way of eight different receivers. Wartburg improved to 3-1 on the year and 2-0 in conference play. This is Sacia’s first Offensive Player of the Week accolade. Sacia was named the league’s offensive MVP a season ago and was a finalist for the Gagliardi Trophy.
