The Pleasantville, Iowa native shot 82-82-164 to win the tournament by 6 strokes over Macalester's Izzy Hebert. The win was career first. Simpson placed second of six teams (358-372-730). The last Simpson player to earn Golfer of the Week honors was Jennifer Gaffney (9/22/13).
