High School Washburn Rural Women’s Cross Country – Runner of the Week Hanna Hegemann, Nebraska Wesleyan University Sr., Topeka, Kan./Washburn Rural Hegemann competed at the Woody Greeno/Jay Dirksen Invite where she took 1st in a field of 69 runners. Her time of 22:39.1 won by 13 seconds. The race was Hagemann’s first of the season and came in a field comprised of Division II, Division III, NAIA, and JUCO runners. The Prairie Wolves placed 1st out of nine teams. This is Hagemann’s first Runner of the Week accolade, with the last NWU runner earning the honor being Ellie Meiermann (10/1/17).
