The senior runner completed the 8k course in 26:11, 41 seconds behind first-place Marcus Graham of Indian Hills CC. Simpson placed 3rd in the team standings (19 teams) with 88 points. This is Thompson’s first Runner of the Week accolade with the winner from Simpson being Ian McKenzie (9/24/17).
