High School Kearney Catholic Male Athlete of the Week – Football – Offensive Player of the Week Eric Pacheco, Buena Vista University So., WR, Kearney, Neb./Kearney Catholic Pacheco hauled in three touchdown receptions to help BVU win its season-opener against Hamline 39-27. His eight catches and 242 yards were both career-highs and tops in the league during week one. Pacheco’s 242 yards receiving ranked second in NCAA Division III during week one and were the second-most in a single game in school history (2nd to Jalen Henningsen's 308 in 2015). Pacheco earned Special Teams Player of the Week honors one year ago during his first collegiate game for BVU.
