Roberts and the Beavers took the weekend series from Central 2-1. Game 1: Central – 7, BVU – 3: 2-for-5, 1-double, .400 batting average, 3-putouts, 1-assist. Game 2: BVU – 7, Central – 6: 4-for-5, 3-RBI, 1-run, 1-double, 1-stolen base, .800 batting average, 4-putouts. Roberts drove in the eventual game-winning run in the game two. Game 3: BVU – 21, Central – 9: 3-for-5, 5-RBI, 2-runs, 1-double, .600 batting average, 1-putout. Roberts has multiple hits in five of the six IIAC games on the year as BVU is 4-2 in league play. This is Roberts first Position Player of the Week accolade and second for the Beavers this season.
