All three of Davis’ home runs came in DH sweep of Buena Vista, getting two in game one and one in game two. Game 1: Grinnell – 13, Simpson – 5: 1-for-3, 1-RBI, 1-double, .333 batting average. Game 2: Grinnell – 8, Simpson – 6: 2-for-4, 2-RBI, .500 batting average. Game 1: Simpson – 3, BVU – 3: 2-for-3, 5-RBI, 2-runs, 2-HR, .667 batting average 2.667 slugging percentage. Game 2: Simpson – 4, BVU – 1: 1-for-3, 2-RBI, 1-run, 1-HR, .333 batting average, 1.333 slugging percentage. Davis now leads the IIAC in hits (34) and RBIs (29). This is the second-consecutive week Female Athlete of the Week and Softball Position Player of the Week honors are going to Simpson.
