As the leadoff hitter, Saunders had six extra-base hits and drove in eight runs. He had at three hits in five of the seven games. Over the seven game stretch he went 18-of-33 at the plate for a .545 batting average and tallied five doubles and one triple. In the field he collected eight putouts, six assists and was involved in two double plays. This is the second time Saunders has been named Male Athlete of the Week and Position Player of the Week (3/11/18, 3/19/17).
