He tied a career high scoring 36 points on 14-18 from the field, 4-5 from 3-point and 4-4 at the free throw line in a 108-92 win over Loras that allowed NWU to move to 1st place. In the Prairie Wolves 90-81 road win over Wartburg, Schimonitz led the team with 26 points while adding 9 rebounds, 6 assists and 4 steals. For the week he shot 66.7 percent from the field (22-of-33), was 6-8 on 3-pointers and 12-13 at the free throw line. Schimontiz and the Prairie Wolves are in pursuit of an outright league championship and a No. 1-seed in the IIAC tournament as they host Central College Wednesday night in their IIAC regular season finale.
