Sam Fitzgerald Award Performer of the Week Week Of 1/14/2018 Sport Women's Swim/Dive School Coe College Year Senior Position Hometown Springville, Iowa/Springville High School Women’s Swimming & Diving – Performer of the Week Sam Fitzgerald, Coe College Sr., Springville, Iowa/Springville Fitzgerald and the Kohawks competed at the Luther Sprint Invitational Saturday, January 13. As a member of the 200-yard medley relay, Fitzgerald and teammates placed first with a time of 1:53.34. Fitzgerald finished third in the 100-yard butterfly with a time of 1:04.19 In the 100-yard freestyle in she tied for second with a time of 55.74. In the 200-yard freestyle relay, Fitzgerald and teammates finished second in 1:44.15. This is Fitzgerald’s second Performer of the Week award this season and seventh of her career (1/14/18, 10/29/17, 2/12/17, 12/4/16, 2/1/15, 1/25/15, 11/23/14).
