High School Union Men’s Swimming & Diving – Performer of the Week Noah Nelson, Simpson College Fr., Tulsa, Okla./Union Simpson competed in Sherman, Texas last week, where Nelson won all six individual events in which he swam over two competitions. On January 4th the Storm competed against Austin College (Texas) ... L, 126-74. Event 1: 500 freestyle – 1st (5:11.21) Event 2: 1,000 freestyle – 1st (10:25.40) Event 3: 200 IM – 1st (2:01.80) On January 6th Simpson competed at the Austin Invitational where they finished 5th/6 teams (193 pts). Event 1:100 breaststroke – 1st (1:02.43) Event 2: 200 breaststroke – 1st (2:15.16) Event 3: 100 IM – 1st (57.21) Event 4: 400 medley relay – 7th (3:52.14) This is Nelson’s second Performer of the Week honor (1/8/18, 11/5/17).
