High School Legacy Men’s Basketball – Co-Player of the Week David Jeffries, Buena Vista University Sr., Guard, North Las Vegas, Nev., Legacy Jeffries averaged 20.0ppg, 3.0rpg, 3.5apg, 1.5spg for the week as BVU extended its winning streak to six straight and a league leading 4-0 record in conference play. He was second on the team with 18pts and 5-assists as the Beavers knocked off previously unbeaten Nebraska Wesleyan 91-75, on the road Wednesday, January 3rd. Jeffries came back on Saturday, January 6th and put up 22-points (14 in the second half) which was his second-highest output of the year during the 93-80 win over Central. Jeffries finished the week shooting .68 from the field, .80 from 3-pt and .75 from the free throw line. This is the second Men’s Basketball Player of the Week honor for Jeffries this season. Jeffries is the reigning Iowa Conference Defensive MVP.
