High School Chanhassen Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Basketball – Player of the Week Laura Hamilton, Luther College So., Forward, Minnetonka, Minn./Chanhassen Hamilton helped lead Luther to two non-conference road wins last week, 76-67 over Mount Mercy and 77-72 over No. 7 University of St. Thomas. She led the Norse in scoring (15.5ppg), rebounding (8.5rpg) and assists (4.0apg) during the two-game stretch. Hamilton tallied 19-points, 9-rebounds and 6-assists in win over St. Thomas. In the victory over Mt. Mercy, Hamilton recorded 12-points, 8-rebounds and 2-assists. Since returning to the starting line-up after missing the first four games of the season due to illness, Luther has gone 5-1. Hamilton was an honorable mention All-Conference selection a season ago.
