High School Legacy Men’s Basketball – Player of the Week David Jeffries, Buena Vista University Sr., G, North Las Vegas, Nev./Legacy Jeffries helped the Beavers improve to 3-1 on the year, picking up two victories last week. He averaged 23.5ppg, 7.50rpg, 2apg while adding 4-steals and 3-blocked shots. In Buena Vista’s 59-41 win over Gustavus Adolphus, Jeffries scored 18-points, recorded seven rebounds, 2-blocked shots and 1-steal. Jeffries scored a season-high 31 points during the Beaver’s 142-128 win over Greenville on Saturday as BVU set school record for points. He Also had 8-rebounds, 4-assists and 3-steals in that game. Jeffries is the reigning Iowa Conference Defensive MVP.
