He became the 20th player in Simpson history to reach 1,000 career points, early in the season-opener against Westminster Amsbaugh recorded a double-double with 21 points, 11 rebounds in loss to 2017 NCAA Qualifier Bethel In the Storm’s 83-61 win over Westminster College, Amsbaugh scored 22-points, recorded 8-rebounds and added 2-assists. Amsbaugh totaled 19-points, 6-rebounds and 4-assists in Simpson’s 83-74 victory over Concordia (Wis.). He has reached double figures in 8 straight games dating back to last season.
