High School Union Men’s Swimming & Diving - Performer of the Week Noah Nelson, Simpson College Fr., Tulsa, Okla./Union Nelson paced the Storm with two victories and a runner-up performance in a 112-83 dual loss to Coe. Event 1 - 500 freestyle: 1st, 4:53.47 Event 2 - 200 freestyle: 2nd, 1:47.88 Event 3 - 400 medley relay: 1st, 3:49.16 (Nick Keller, James McKee, Ryan Guamer) The first year Simpson swimmer set school records in the 200 and 500 freestyle, giving him five records in just two meets He broke the old record in the 500 free by 11.53 seconds set in 2011-12, Simpson's oldest record on the books. This is Nelson’s second Performer of the Week honors this season (11/5/17, 10/22/17).
