High School Female Athlete of the Week – Women’s Soccer – Offensive Player of the Week Elizabeth Mills, Loras College Jr., F, Brimfield, Ill. / Peoria Notre Dame Mills recorded three goals in the Iowa Conference tournament to bring her season total to 12. In the Duhawk’s semifinal 3-1 victory over Wartburg, Mills fired 10 shots with six on target and one finding the goal. Mills moved her season point total to 31 after scoring two goals in Loras’ 4-1 championship match victory over Luther. Loras earned a trip to the NCAA Tournament for the 13th time in program history and in consecutive seasons The league title was the 12th in Duhawk program history and the fifth in the last eight years. Mills was named Iowa Conference Offensive Player of the Year in 2016 Loras will face Webster in the first-round of the NCAA Division III tournament. The Duhawks will host the first two round of the four-team regional.
