Ashlyn Bagge Award Female Athlete of the Week Week Of 10/29/2017 Sport American Rivers Conference School Wartburg College Year Senior Position Hometown Independence, Iowa High School Independence Female Athlete of the Week – Cross Country – Runner of the Week Ashlyn Bagge, Wartburg College Sr., Independence, Iowa / Independence Knights finished second at the IIAC championship this past weekend. Bagge dominated the race from the beginning, eventually winning by more than 30 seconds. Winning time was 22:05.1. Bagge was the bronze medalist a year ago and now adds the gold to her collection. This is the third time this season Bagge has earned the Runner of the Week award. No other runner won more than once. The conference award is her first of the year.
