Ian McKenzie Award Runner of the Week (Men) Week Of 9/24/2017 Sport Cross Country School Simpson College Year Senior Position Hometown Des Moines, Iowa High School West Des Moines Dowling Catholic Men’s Cross Country - Runner of the Week Ian McKenzie, Simpson College Sr., Des Moines, Iowa / West Des Moines Dowling Catholic McKenzie and the Storm competed at the Brissman-Lundeen Invitational this past weekend. McKenzie finished 1st out of 215 runners. He completed the 4-mile course in 21:14.0, seven seconds ahead of 2nd-place. Simpson placed 1st of 22 teams in the Gold Division with 36 points.
