Sathoff, a junior forward, averaged 20.7 points and 9.0 rebounds while leading the Knights to a 3-0 record to open the year for the first time since the 2002-03 season. He posted his third career double-double with a 19-point, 10-rebound performance in the championship game of the Buzz Levick-Pizza Ranch Tipoff Tournament and was named tournament MVP.
