Christensen, a junior forward, averaged 19.7 points and 10 rebounds as the Beavers opened the season with a 2-1 mark. A transfer, Christensen opened her Buena Vista career with 22 points and seven rebounds in a season-opening loss to Nebraska Wesleyan. In her second game, she posted a 17-point, 17-rebound double-double in a win over Bethany Lutheran, tying a BVU single-game school record for rebounds.
