Mark Fairley, Central College Jr., Dubuque, Iowa/Dubuque Fairley competed Saturday, Feb. 18 at the University of Iowa Open, which is home to the “fastest track in the world” Event 1: 3,000-meter run (2nd of 14 - 8:23.87) Fairley set a new PR by over 16 seconds He has the best time in the IIAC by over eight seconds After adjusting his time for the banked track, Fairley still ranks 24th in NCAA Division III in the event This is Fairley’s first Men’s Indoor Track & Field – Track Performer of the Week honor Fairley finished 12th in the 1-mile and 14th in the 3,000 at the 2016 Indoor Track & Field Championships
