Murphy, a junior defender, scored the game-winning goal from her defensive position in Loras’ 1-0 victory over Wartburg in the championship final of the 2010 Iowa Conference women’s soccer tournament. She was also part of a defensive unit that limited Luther to six shots – none on goal – in a 2-0 semifinal victory. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)
