Jergens, a sophomore running back, scored three touchdowns on just seven touches offensively in Simpson's 28-21 win over Wisconsin-River Falls. He had six rushes for 72 yards and two touchdowns, including the game-winning 56-yard touchdown scamper with 7:17 to play. Jergens also caught a 63-yard touchdown pass and added a 2-yard touchdown run. (IIAC Male Athlete of the Week)
