Norris, a junior forward, led the third-seeded Spartans to their second Iowa Conference men’s basketball tournament title in three years. He averaged 24.67 points and eight rebounds during the tournament. He opened with 29 points on 10-of-15 shooting with four 3-pointers in a 92-74 first-round win over Luther. He also had 12 rebounds, four assists, three blocks and five steals against Norse. In Dubuque’s 71-59 semifinal win over Coe, Norris scored 21 with six rebounds, three blocks, and assist and a steal. He finished the week with 42 points, six rebounds, four assists, three blocks and three steals in an 81-73 win over Wartburg in the final. Norris, the IIAC’s leading scorer, averaged 21.2 points in conference play, 4.5 points more than second place. He also ranked second in the league in steals and sixth in rebounds.
