Kotas, a senior forward, averaged 23.5 points and 11.5 rebounds while shooting 41 percent (16-of-39) from the field as the Spartans split a pair of IIAC games. She scored 20 points on 9-of-19 shooting and pulled down 11 rebounds in a 80-70 loss to No. 25 Luther on Jan. 14. In an 82-73 overtime win at Buena Vista on Jan. 17, Kotas scored four straight points in the extra session to help put the game away. She finished the game with 27 points on 7-of-20 shooting – including 13-of-14 at the free throw line – and 12 rebounds. It was her third straight double-double.(IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)
