Hobbs, a freshman guard/forward, averaged 17.5 points and 8.5 rebounds while leading the Kohawks to wins over teams picked by the IIAC's coaches to finish first and second in the league. She scored 14 points, pulled down eight rebounds, and one block and one assist in 28 minutes in Coe's 75-69 win over Simpson on Jan. 7. Hobbs followed that effort up with 21 points, nine rebounds, two steals, a block and an assist in a 72-65 win over Loras on Jan. 10. She shot 45.5 percent (10-of-22) from the floor and was 14-of-16 at the free-throw line. Hobbs has now scored in double figures in nine of her 13 collegiate games, including each of the last five.
