Koepnick, a senior guard/forward, was named Most Valuable Player at the Wisconsin-Stevens Point Pointer Tip-Off Tournament after averaging 17.5 points, 2.5 rebounds and 2.5 steals while leading the Norse to the tournament title. She shot 46 percent (11-of-24) from the field and 58 percent (7-of-12) from 3-point range. In the 61-56 win over the host Pointers in Saturday's season-opener, Koepnick scored 13 points on 5-of-14 shooting while pulling down two rebounds and making two steals. She broke out for 22 points on 6-of-10 shooting, including five 3-pointers, in a 76-62 win over Carthage on Sunday. She also had three rebounds, three assists and three steals against the Lady Reds.
