Anderson, a senior defender, helped anchor the Wartburg defense to its ninth shutout of the season in the Knights' 1-0 IIAC Tournament semifinal win over No. 12 Luther. In the IIAC Tournament championship match, Anderson converted the championship-winning penalty kick as Wartburg edged No. 8 Loras, 5-4, in a penalty-kick shootout after the teams played to a 2-2 draw.
