Serres, a junior, won her second consecutive Iowa Conference cross country title Nov. 1 at Pickard Park in Indianola. She traversed the 6,000-meter course in 21:57.7 -- a full minute better than the rest of the field. It is the 17th individual title for a Luther runner and Serres becomes the 10th runner to claim at least two individual crowns. The Norse (46 points) took second to Wartburg (28) in the team race after the Knights place nine in the top 15.
