Resnick, a freshman, won the Flight A singles title and finished second in Flight A doubles (with Sarah Lasecki) at the 2014 Iowa Conference Women's Tennis Individual Tournament in Pella. Resnick, who entered as the No. 2 seed in singles, topped Wartburg's Melissa Davis, 6-2, 6-0, and Luther's Adriana DePaolis, 6-2, 6-3, and teammate Jordan Ferree, 6-3, 6-0, en route to a date in the finals with Dubuque's Arantxa Martinez. Resnick prevailed 6-3, 1-6, 1-0 (10) to win the title, avenging a 6-1, 7-5 loss in the regular-season matchup on Sept. 25. It is the fourth straight Flight A singles title for a Coe player. Resnick also became the fifth different Kohawk to earn the Flight A singles title since 2007.
In doubles, Resnick and Lasecki advanced to the final after upsetting the third-seeded Luther duo of Maggie Helms and Olivia Heitz, 9-8 (5), in the quarterfinals and the second-seeded Wartburg tandem of Kayla Kuethe and Melissa Davis, 8-6, in the semifinals. In the championship match, Resnick and Lasecki fell to their teammates, the top-seeded team of Laura Birky and Jordan Ferree by an 8-5 score. (IIAC Female Athlete of the Week)
