Sowers, a junior third baseman, hit .579 (11-of-19) with a 1.105 slugging percentage, four doubles, two home runs, seven RBIs, a stolen bases and 10 runs scored as Central went 6-0 last week. She led the No. 11 Dutch in hitting and fielding, posting at least one hit in each game. Sowers had three hits in both halves of a March 31 doubleheader against Wisconsin-Eau Claire. In the second game of that doubleheader, she went 3-for-3 with a double, two home runs, four RBIs and three runs scored. The Dutch are 22-4 overall, 2-0 in the conference and enter the week on an 11-game winning streak to move head coach George Wares to 999 career victories.
