Squires, a junior, fired a first-round 69 to lead the Webster Gorlok Invitational after 18 holes (tournament concluded Monday, March 31). He shared the lead with two others and led the field of 87 golfers by three strokes. Central led the team race after 18 holes with a 295 total.
