Harris, a junior, went 2-0 with a complete game and 17 strikeouts, allowing only two runs (one earned) on eight hits over 17 innings. He came on in relief in BVU's 11-8 win over Gustavus Adolpus on March 24 and pitched the final six innings, striking out a career-high nine as the Beavers were able to overcome an 8-3 deficit. Harris got the start in game three of the Beavers' IIAC-opening series against Luther and earned his first career complete game, striking out eight and walking one over seven innings. He won just one game a year ago but is 3-0 this season and tied for fourth in strikeouts among IIAC pitchers.
