Rushing, a senior designated hitter, hit .556 (10-of-18) with a 1.056 slugging percentage, four doubles, a triple, seven RBIs and five runs scored as Central won three of four games to close out the Tucson Invitational Games with a 7-1 record. The Dutch are 8-3 overall. He had two hits in each of the four games and fell a single shy of a cycle with a run scored and four RBIs in a 12-9 win over Hamline on March 20.
